Mr. Robin Lee

Mr. Robin Lee

Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Leeis the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SSC Mandarin Group. Mr. Lee has over 27 years of financial and M&A advisory, and public and private corporate finance experience in Hong Kong, China and South Africa, much of which has been focused on the Chinese mineral mining industry. In June 2000, Mr. Lee joined SSC Mandarin Financial Services Limited (“SSCM”) as the Group Managing Director. SSCM is a corporate finance advisory firm registered under the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Ordinance that provides financial advice to international companies with respect to mining industry acquisitions in China. In this capacity, Mr. Lee has been active in several restructuring and financing projects relating to the gold and other minerals mining industries in China and has assisted several PRC enterprises in listing on the Hong Kong and Singapore stock exchanges.

Mr. Lee also currently serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of China Resources Development Inc. with focus on businesses located in or serving PRC that are engaged primarily in the basic minerals mining and related industries, as well as a director of SSC Mandarin Diamond Mining Limited, the first Hong Kong based company owning diamond projects in Kimberly of South Africa where has a considerable significance in diamond mining and the root of De Beers corporation (one of the world’s largest diamond producer) can be traced to.

Since February 2010, Mr. Lee has been a director of Apex Minerals NL, a publicly traded company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. From June 2008 to August 2010, Mr. Lee was a director of Grand T G Gold Holdings Limited (“Grand T G”), a publicly traded company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and also served as its Chief Executive Officer from September 2009 to August 2010. Grand T G Gold is principally focused, through its PRC subsidiary, on the exploration and exploitation of precious metals and mineral resources in the PRC.Since 2007, Mr. Lee has been the Chairman of a gold mining entity in China. From March 2004 until February 2006, Mr. Lee was the Chairman of SSC Sino Gold Consulting Company Limited (now known as SSC Sino Gold Mining Investment Company Limited), a joint venture company established in 2003 between affiliates of each of SSCM and the China Gold Association. From August 1997 to June 2000, Mr. Lee served as Chief Executive Officer of Mandarin Business Consultants (Pty) Limited, a business consulting firm located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

From September 1984 to July 1997, Mr. Lee served as General Manager of Nedcor Asia Ltd (Nedcor), a Hong Kong restricted licensed bank, where he held senior management positions in that firm’s banking, securities and investment banking businesses. While at Nedcor, Mr. Lee played a leading role for Sino Steel Corporation, a state-owned enterprise under the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, in its then largest overseas acquisition of a chrome mine in South Africa  and, from October 1994 to March 1996, served as Chief Representative of Nedcor’s Chinese banking affiliate where he established a business network in China and South Africa and assisted mining companies in identifying acquisition targets and business opportunities in China and South Africa.

Mr. Lee holds a diploma in accounting from the University of Hong Kong Polytechnic, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of East Asia, Macau and a Diploma of Management from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. Mr. Lee is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

Mr. Henry Lee

Executive Director

Mr. Lee has more than 20 years’ experience in securities industry. Mr. Lee was an entrepreneur before he entered into securities industry. He is a licensed person under Securities and Futures Ordinance in Hong Kong to advise on securities, dealing in securities, leveraged foreign exchange trading and dealing in futures contracts.

He currently serves as the Director, Sales of CASH financial Services Group Limited. Mr. Lee obtained his Journalism Degree at Chuhai College and obtained his Bachelor Degree at University of Guelph in Canada

Ms Angela Ma

Ms Ma is responsible for marketing research, customer training and listing coordination work for the listing projects in the Eastern China region. Ms Ma has been responsible for the China business development and coordination since SSC Mandarin extended its services to corporate finance business.

Ms Ma’s role is to assist and coordinate with clients in the entire listing process to enhance the communication between the clients and all intermediaries and assist in internal restructuring in order to fulfill all listing regulation. Ms Ma’s effort has significantly reduced the time spent on the entire listing process. Ms Ma’s excellent communication skill and outstanding performance has earned our clients’ confidence and trust.

Mr. Pieter van Aswegen

Mr. van Aswegen has 36 years of experience in the gold mining industry in South Africa and internationally. Since June 2006, Mr. van Aswegen has been the sole proprietor of P Met Consulting cc, a metallurgical processing consulting company which he founded. From April 1988 through June 2006, Mr. van Aswegen was employed by Gold Fields Limited, an international producer of gold, as a Senior Manager responsible for marketing development and implementation of bio-oxidation processing of gold ores in Australia, Ghana, Kazakhstan, China and Uzbekistan.

Prior joining Gold Fields Limited, Mr.van Aswegen held various positions with Gencor Limited, and international gold and base metals company in South Africa. Mr. van Aswegen also served on the board of directors of Gold Field of Uzbekistan. Mr. van Aswegen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy from the University of Pretoria and is a fellow of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and registered as a Chartered Professional (Metallurgy).

Dr. Denis Worrall

Dr. Denis Worrall is executive chairman of Omega Investment Mining Partners, an international mining investment consultancy, and Omega Investment Research (Pty) Limited, an international marketing and investment promotion company (Registered in London and South Africa in 1990.) He has participated in dozens of capital-raising initiatives in financial centres across the world.

Dr. Worrall and SSC Mandarin Financial Group have worked closely for over a decade in providing advice and assisting Chinese companies expand into Africa’s mining industry. Both parties have joined forces in together coordinating several international mining conferences in Hong Kong (from 2002-2009) and Shanghai (2004) and other major financial centres, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London and Johannesburg. Dr. Worrall has extensive consulting, financial and banking experience. He is a former South Africa ambassador to Australia (1982-1994) and the United Kingdom (1984-1987) and a former member of the South African Parliament (1974-1994). He is also a former vice-chairman of the International Bank of Southern Africa (1990-1993), and a consultant to the World Bank (1991-1993).

Dr. Worrall has significant experience and relations in the precious metal and mining industry. He served on the board of directors and chairmanships of several companies, such as Crown Diamonds NL (2003-2006), Australia; Blackstar plc (AIM-listed investment fund)(2007-2008); and was advisor to Petra Diamonds (2005-2006), South Africa and the UK. He is a graduate of the University of Cape Town (BA Hons., MA (UCT)), University of South Africa (LLB) and Cornell University (PhD) where he was a Fulbright scholar.

Mr. Brandon Ho

Director - Executive Committee

Mr. Hohas more than 20 years’ experience in financial advisory, financial management and accounting in China and overseas. Mr. Ho is now the Director, Executive Committee of SSC Mandarin Financial Services Limited (“SSCM”). He previously served as Project Director of SSCM where he participated in several restructuring and financing projects relating to the gold and other minerals mining industries in China, from June 2006 to December 2008. Mr. Ho also currently serves as a director and Chief Financial Officer of China Resources Development Inc., which focuses on businesses located in or serving PRC that are engaged primarily in the basic minerals mining and related industries.

From December 2008 to September 2010, Mr. Ho served as the Financial Controller of Grand T G Gold Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong listed company, and also served as its secretary for a portion of that time period. Prior to joining SSCM, Mr. Ho had worked for more than ten years at a Hong Kong based business and financial advisory firm in the fields of business advisory, corporate finance advisory and mergers and acquisitions as well as a Hong Kong based listed group focusing on bullion trading and property investment principally in Hong Kong and China, where he held various positions relating to finance and accounting, including the position of Group Senior Finance Manager. In this capacity, Mr. Ho was responsible for financial reporting and compliance, taxation as well as financial management.

Mr. Ho also participated in numerous restructuring and corporate financing transactions while serving in the foregoing positions. Prior to joining that company, Mr. Ho worked in the fields of accounting and auditing in Hong Kong and Australia. Mr. Ho holds a Bachelor of Business degree in accounting from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Manchester Business School, United Kingdom.

Mr. Ho is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom, and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.

Patrick Leung

Project Director

Mr. Leung holds a Diploma of Financial Management and had studied a MBA program. He has 20 years of experience in banking, treasury operation, project finance, logistics and human resource management.  He has worked as senior management member with First Pacific, Nedcor Asia, BfG Germany and Delta Asia Financial Group. Mr. Leung left his career in banking filed in 1994.

Since then, he has been a manufacturing operator and consultant in retail/logistics, insurance and investment until May 2000. In the last 10 years, Mr. Leung was engaging in telecommunication business and as one of the founder and CEO of Trident Telecom Ventures Limited which was the first “Mobile Virtual Network Operator” in Hong Kong. Mr. Leung joined SSC Mandarin Group on February 2010.

Rod Ho

Chief Operation Officer - Wealth Management

Rod Ho has over 10 years’ experience in insurance industry, including banking, insurance company and independent financial advisory services companies. He has valuable experience in the setting up strategic sales networks for financial advisory services in unit trusts and mutual funds. As a founder of SSC Wealth Management Ltd, he is responsible for the daily operations and administration of this company.

Rod first registered as a Technical Representative of The Hong Kong Confederation of Insurance Brokers in 2003. He is also a Chartered member of the Financial Planner.

Martin He

Director – Executive Committee

Mr. He has over 15 years’ extensive experiences in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance, natural resources in Canada and China. Mr. He is the Director of Executive Committee of SSC Mandarin Financial Services Limited based in Hong Kong, focusing on IPO, and VSA of mining, oil & gas and new energy projects. He is also the founder and Managing Director of Zensation Capital Limited, a Hong Kong based business and financial consulting company specializing on aviation, hospitality, tourism and real estate, pharmaceutical, media, etc.

Mr. He is the Independent Non Executive director of Mitsumaru East Kit (Holdings) Limited, a listed company in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Before Zensation Capital, Mr. He is the Chief Investment Officer of Nuovo Assets Limited, a Hong Kong based venture capital fund focusing on early stage technology investment and investment which can be immediately converted into listed shares in Hong Kong. Prior to Nuovo,

Mr. He is the Executive Director of Laidlaw Pacific (Asia) Limited, Hong Kong; and the Chief Representative, China, Laidlaw Global Corporation, an investment bank based in Wall Street. Mr. He has participated all investments in China and Southeast Asia for Asia Pacific Electric Wire & Cable Co Limited (APWC), a billion-dollar public company listed in NYSE.

Before his migration to Hong Kong, Mr. He was the Executive Director and Deputy General Manager of Pacific Gold Corporation / Worldtek Inc., a public company listed in the Toronto Stock Exchange, Canada which was focusing on the operation of salt water wells in Mississippi, the United States. Mr. He is the Governor in Maclehose Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Hong Kong and the Commitment member in Hong Kong Society of Rehabilitation, Hong Kong.

Mr. He is also one of the Founders of Confucius Virtue Foundation in Hong Kong. Mr. He has got his Master of Finance degree at the University of Toronto and Master of Management and Bachelor of International Economics degree at the Peking University.
